 Expanding
on its product solutions for dispensing powders, granulars, and
flakes, Nalbach Engineering Company announces the release of a new
auger filling system that is inspected and certified to comply with
the USDA 3A sanitary standard. This system employs a domed hopper to
optimize drainage during cleaning, sanitary pipe clamps and gaskets,
polished product contact surfaces, and welded to comply with 3A
standards. Additionally, the system includes the ability to make
auger tooling adjustments without the need to remove the hopper, as
well as sanitary inspection and tooling access ports for ease of
operation and maintenance.
Many suppliers “build†to 3A specification, but do not include
certification. This requires the end-user to get the system
inspected and certified themselves after it is installed. The
Nalbach system is built, inspected and certified at the factory to
comply with the USDA 3A specification eliminating any guesswork at
time of installation and start-up.
The filler's control panel performs all set-up and operation of the
entire system. This “HMI†panel is an intuitive, icon-based,
graphical user interface with touch screen and comes standard with
all
Nalbach Servo Driven Auger Fillers. This powerful controller
provides a single point of operator control for the entire system
making training, set-up and operation simple and straightforward.
Nalbach's servo driven auger fillers incorporate PLC controlled
brushless, direct drive, servo motor systems providing superior fill
accuracy and reliability while dramatically reducing mechanical
failures and downtime by eliminating most moving parts.
All Nalbach auger filling systems feature self centering tooling
resulting in faster changeovers and cleaning times, stainless steel
product contact parts and aluminum structural parts for exceptional
durability, an empty hopper function for quick product changeovers,
“Smart Agitator†technology to extend agitator life, product memory
capable of storing filling parameters for up to 60 SKUs with one
button recall, and weight set-up software that quickly, easily and
automatically sets-up fill parameters.
