 Augmenting
its line of Servo Driven Auger and Cup Fillers, Nalbach Engineering
Company announces the release of a brand new integrated filling
station, the Model ICS-8.
The ICS-8 is an Indexing Conveyor with Product Settling
System that combined with Nalbach's line of Servo Driven Auger
and Cup Fillers is a complete, integrated, filling station, ideal
for the consistent and accurate dispensing of a broad range of
powders, granulars, flakes and other free-flowing products.
The Indexing Conveyor comes standard with an 8' long conveyor,
adjustable guide rails, stainless steel construction, variable speed
drive, and air-operated container stops for indexing and positioning
of containers under the Filler.
The Product Settling System includes a section of split chain
conveyor at the vibration station and an air-operated system that
raises the container away from the conveyor prior to initiation of
the vibration mode. The vibration mode starts as the Filler begins
dispensing product and insures a consistent and accurate fill each
and every time. In applications that fill a variety of products, the
Product Settling System can be adjusted to accommodate a range of
product filling parameters or simply "turned-off" if not required.
All set-up and control of the ICS-8 and the Filler is performed by
the Filler's control panel. This control panel is an intuitive,
icon-based, graphical user interface with touch screen and comes
standard with all Nalbach Servo Driven Auger and Cup Fillers. This
powerful controller provides a single point of user control for the
entire system making training, set-up and operation a breeze. The
ICS is ideally suited for a broad range of industries in which
powders, granulars, flakes and other free-flowing products are
dispensed. Some of these industries include food, drink mixes,
pharmaceuticals, health and beauty aids, chemicals, and pet foods.
